The Port of Barcelona is the largest cruise port in the Mediterranean, as well as a gateway for freight vessels out of the region and its hinterland.

Barcelona enjoys a Mediterranean climate which is welcomed by its visitors to the city any month of the year. The average temperature in the winter is about 10°C (or 50°F), while in summer is 25º C (or 77°F). It rains very little and temperatures rarely drop below 0º C ( or 32°F). The beach season is from May to September, but all year you can enjoy outdoor activities.
